As we face changes in our personal and working lives, who has not wondered whether we are getting enough out of life and really making the most of all London has to offer.
The London Intervarsity Club is London's longest established social and activities club for graduates, professionals and those who share similar interests. Being owned and run by the members, we are able to offer a very extensive programme of social and cultural events, activities and holidays. New members will soon feel that they are socialising with friends and can relax amongst good company. With hundreds rather than thousands of members, we believe we retain a genuine club-like ethos. Most members are 50+. Check out our Diary under the Events tab and find some further info under the Activities tab. We also keep members up-to-date with a weekly e-newsletter. Congratulations to IVC member Natasha on her public debut singing at the Old White Lion Open Mic on Jan 8th. As usual there was a good IVC turnout despite the terrible weather.

London IVC members saw in the new year a day early on December 30th to avoid the rush. We met at the Walthamstow Trades Hall where there was a great disco night. Photo shows just a few of us - we were all up dancing eventually... |
| London IVC Xmas dinner 2025 |
Every year London IVC members enjoy a Xmas dinner at the Civil Service Club in central London. 64 of us booked this year. Its a brilliant meal complete with three generous courses followed by coffee and a mince pie, crackers, a Xmas tree and decorations, our own large dining room and suitable Christmas music - all for £33. The club provides a £15 subsidy for all the members attending. Another reason to consider joining London IVC if you have not already done so. We ended with a round of applause for the staff who provided great value food and attentive service.
