We are meeting at the Elm Tree pub in Elmers End. This is an Irish pub and is between Elmers End Green and Elmers End tram stop/South-Eastern railway station. Parking is free in the nearby side-streets and in the pub car-park. There are quite a few bus routes in the local vicinity. Most members will be eating here tonight and the meal prices and menu are typical for this type of pub.

The big pool at the Porchester Centre is reserved exclusively for IVC from 20.15 to 21.00 on Wednesdays. The pool is bigger than most local pools and is newly refurbished. They take out the lane swimming ropes specially for us giving a better swimming experience. We can usually get access to the changing rooms from 20.00. Please follow guidance from pool staff on safety. Do not pay on entry because we have already paid for a block booking; pay our treasurer on exit. Afterwards we meet at a local pub , the Leinster Arms in Leinster Terrace. Underground stations are nearby (Queensway, Bayswater and Royal Oak).
