Some of the Beckenham & Bromley MYN group participate in a monthly Investment Club where we each contribute £25 to invest in UK equities. The meetings are normally held on the second Thursday of the month but we are having this month's meeting one week later than normal. The Investment Club has been running for just under 25 years, but we always welcome new or potential members. Prospective members are given up to three months to decide whether to join as active members.
The choice of which shares to buy, or to sell, is decided by those particpating in tonight's meeting in a majority decision.. The meeting gives everyone a chance to discuss the stock market, the economy or anything else which members have noted could effect the various share prices.
Contact Roland in advance, preferably by e-mail on the day before, so that he can send you a link to click on at the start of the meeting.
A very popular evening of friendly chat, a pub quiz, live entertainment and sharing music videos. Regularly attracts around 20 people.

As dusk draws in we shall hunt out the unnatural sounds of the nightjar and the elusive green light of glow worms (not a worm at all but a beetle).
Our annual hunt for nightjars and glow worms is preceded this year at the Cottage Inn, Upper Bucklebury, which is less than a mile from the starting point. You can have a meal there, or you may like to just come for a drink. I’m suggesting 7.45 for meeting at the pub and then as dusk draws at 9.45 we take our cars to the parking area just off the main road between the pub and Chapel Row. You may wish to take a torch for when it truly gets dark.
Full details are given on Thames Valley IVC's Meetup website: https://www.meetup.com/thames-valley-ivc/events/308536835.
If you are on Meetup then book there please. Otherwise email the organiser Ralph (ralph.phillips6821@gmail.com) by 6:00 pm on the night to let him know you would like to come.
Join Thomas for a lovely and easy riverside walk of 8.8miles.
